Jon Duprau

Jon leads the investment management team, with more than 20 years’ experience working in strategic investment planning and portfolio construction including asset allocation, implementation selection, risk evaluation and management, performance measurement, and governance. Jon has extensive experience working with board members, senior executives, and investment committees and helps to align an institution’s investment and financial goals with a thoughtfully constructed portfolio that is synergistic with the mission of the organization.  

His investment methods are innovative, efficient and impactful and have been implemented by institutional investors, hedge funds and investment offices throughout the country. Through the evolution of his contributions, investors have better recognized the potential to improve returns while improving efficiency and reducing behavioral bias. 

Prior to Quantum, Jon was a quantitative analyst, then portfolio manager at Prudential Securities where he worked to develop the firm’s efforts to incorporate technology into their investment strategies. At J.P. Morgan Securities, then Alex Brown, he helped institutions capitalize on quantitative research, tactical asset allocation, alternative investments and improve the overall efficiency in portfolios. He developed the Reliability and Efficiency Ratios that scrutinizes data to score investment solutions based on the most important metrics. Jon is also active in his community, champions several cultural and faith-based initiatives.
